Mr. Ravi Thakran founded L Capital Asia in 2008 and led it as Chairman and Managing Partner from its inception. Mr. Thakran led the development of L Capital Asia which went on to become one of the largest consumer-focused growth investors in Asia.

Mr. Thakran also served in many senior roles in several business verticals of the LVMH Group, the world’s largest luxury goods company. Over two decades at LVMH, Mr. Thakran eventually assumed the roles of Group President for LVMH Asia in 2008 and Group Chairman for LVMH Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Middle East in 2014.

Prior to his time at LVMH, Mr. Thakran held senior management positions at the Swatch Group, Nike and the Tata Group.

Mr. Thakran also sits on several boards like Singapore Tourism Board, Harrods London, Global Conservation Corps, South Africa, India Heritage Centre and Fashion Commission, Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Thakran holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
